Earlier, editor-in-chief's task in RTK, Blerim Haxhia, has reacted after media reports that his wife's NGO has benefited 100,000 euros from the Kurti Government.
In his reaction, he has attacked the media and journalists who reported him as mercenaries.
Although he has acknowledged that his wife's NGO has received tools from various ministries, he has said the NGO in question exists for years.
A journalist's mayor yesterday made the next slander, and the rest of them spread lies as usually coordinated. These journalism mercenaries slandered that I have benefited from the 100 thousand-euro government, referring to a public MKRS call for the independent Kosovo cultural scene. The NGO Cult Club, which is represented by slanderers, is doing nearly two decades of its activity, with projects successfully implemented. In 2006, I was one of the founders and this is part of the organisation's history, which has its own leadership structures and directors, Elmaze Nura, my wife, who is one of the most successful theatre directors, former director of the National Theatre, science doctor and university professors at the Faculty of Arts. Cul Club has contributed to the country's cultural scene, and many artists, young people, students, have benefited from years-made projects in different governments, as well as the organisation's annual programme” > > in its response.
