Germany's ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, has delivered a clear message to the Kosovo political class, saying the responsibility for resolving the institutional stalemate falls entirely on politicians, not on the Constitutional Court.
In an interview in FIVE, Rohde expressed his concern about the continuing impasse of political processes and the negative impact on the country's international reputation.
The German ambassador warned that if this situation is not resolved soon, Kosovo risks losing its international importance.
I'm not in a position to appreciate the decisions of the Constitutional Court. The Constitution has clearly said it is up to politicians to solve the problem. It seems to me that on the political side, they hope the great reference will find court, but the Constitution cannot do the work of politicians. The solution has to be done quickly, otherwise you know, when my French colleague had the international day, he also called for a compromise to resolve this political stalemate.
If nothing happens, Kosovo is losing the ship, because Kosovo's survey will fade. If you do not have a decision - making government, how can you be important? Work is disturbing... I hope that soon Kosovo will give us good news and not as yet.
It seems to me that no one so far is trying to step forward, the country, the population, but also the international reputation. Kosovo must walk ahead of”, Rohde has said./Periscopi/
