The head of American diplomacy made it clear on Thursday that “strongly opposes” French President Emmanuel Macron's decision to recognise the state of Palestine during the UN General Assembly in September.
He has described it as a unilateral decision that, according to him, repels peace.
This unilateral decision serves nothing but Hamas propaganda and represents a step back for the peace process. It's a slap on the face of the October 7th 2023 victims,” declared US Secretary of State Marco Rubio through a post on the X platform.
