The case has already been named a suspicious death, while five police officials have been arrested and suspended from duty under suspicion of “being killed by carelessness”.
Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has reacted to this event.
Haxhiu wrote that yesterday the autopsy of late Agon Zamenu has been carried out and that the IML is making maximum efforts to perform histoatological and toxic analysis as soon as possible.
By order of the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina yesterday, the autopsy of the late Agon Zamenullahu was carried out. The IML is making a maximum effort to perform as soon as possible the hetopatological and toxicization of tissue samples taken during autopsy so that the autopsy report can be completed as soon as possible. The Law Medicine Institute has yet to submit any preliminary reports on this case”, Haxhiu has said.
