The Justice Ministry announces public opinion that from the start of the trial process near The Hague Specialised Chambers until 24.07.2025, regular payments have been carried out in line with pre-defined agreements and obligations, in the function of supporting judicial protection.
From the start of the process in total, 32,944,287.77 (thirty-two million and nine hundred forty-four thousand two hundred eighty-seven euros seventy-seven cents).
Of this amount, for the protection of Mr. Hashim Thaci has been spent total: 5,353,301.02 (five million three hundred and fifty-three thousand three hundred and one euro and 2 cents).
The payments have been conducted fairly and transparently and will continue to be made in line with relevant legal provisions and agreements in force.
The justice ministry remains committed to ensuring a fair and balanced process through continued judicial support, in line with the principles of justice and human rights.
