Rama urges the dismissal of deputy mayors: They are tired and consumed

Following mayors and heads of administrative units, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has also called for the dismissal of deputy mayors throughout the country.

During a meeting with mayors in Durres, the head of the government said the vice-chairs are consumed and an update is needed, stressing that they are not performing properly.

The prime minister added that it is important that municipalities have more dynamic and dedicated management facilities to implement government projects.

Rama's statements come a few hours after he imposed ultimatums until Monday day to dismiss leaders of all Administrative Units in the country. /Euronews Albania
