Ina Majko, the first Roma representative in Albania's government cabinet, has been appointed Deputy Health and Social Protection Minister.
As Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama says, it brings experience and commitment to protecting people in need and representation of different communities in the new government.
” MyKO Ina is the first draw, among many others following the new route that opened May 11th, towards Albania 2030 in the European Union.
She has just been elected Deputy Health and Social Protection Minister, after being prominent in the May 11th team, among those who, even though they failed to win a seat in the new Assembly, were an added value of SP2030 in representing communities and different interest groups.
Ina came to our team as a selection by the Roma community and as the first representative of this community at the government cabinet's level in the country's history, it will cover the very issues of the people in need of social protection.
Ina Majko's story is the story of a grown child amid big economic prejudices and difficulties and the story of a talented girl full of energy and determination to get out, who not only carried out his studies abroad and speaks five foreign languages but also became a beautiful voice of her community on social platforms.
I hope Ina is an added asset in the work of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, and more support for families and children in need”./Periscopi/
