Consequently, some of the highways leading to Zagreb are expected to be blocked by heavy car traffic on A2, A3 and A4 highways.
“In Zagreb is scheduled to hold a major open air concert on Saturday, July 5th 2025, in the evening, where organisers have announced they are expected to participate approximately 500,000 visitors”.
Because of this, several days before the event, and especially on the day of the concert, July 5, 2025, heavy traffic is forecast on A2 highways, A3 and A4 heading towards Zagreb from all directions. A special overload is expected from the south via A1 and A6 highways, especially on the side road to Zagreb”, the QKMT has said.
This centre argued that especially after the concert, during the night from Saturday to Sunday, July 5th to July 6th 2025, <x0) expected significant traffic jams and we suggest that you avoid travel to or around Zagreb during that time”.
“Brenda Zagreb itself is expected especially high traffic vehicles and pedestrians, with several roads experiencing traffic cuts caused by temporary traffic regulations from July 4th to July 6th 2025”.
In view of the expected impasse on major roads, we advise all tourists planning road trips through or through Zagreb whether on their way to Croatian tourist destinations or returning from Croatian destinations to their countries of origin to plan their trips one or more days before Saturday, July 5, 2025. We also recommend that you stay informed by checking English traffic updates in Croatia's Second Radio Programme, via the HAK Web site and the Croatia Traffic Info” app. /Periscope/
