Education field connoisseurs are considering that the process of providing textbooks for students for the past two years has been conveyed with some problems, but that it has also brought some priorities.
Even though there has been disappointment on the part of parents for the past two years and has been deemed unhindered by the parents' subvention for textbooks equipment, the Ministry of Education is expected to soon open the call for application.
The education ministry in a more written response to Radio Kosovo has announced that all students will have sufficient time to provide textbooks before the start of the new school year, broadcast Periscope.
The “Process and the announcement of a call for a project by August will be published soon, and all beneficiaries of this scheme will have enough time to supply textbooks and textbooks before the start of the 2025/2026 school year. ”
In response to the Ministry, it becomes known that this year the ministry, through working groups, has analyzed and released recommendations and reflections on the basis of experience from past years.
“Workers within the STAT framework have analysed and released recommendations and reflections on the basis of experience from past years. The process and the announcement also, preparing separate student verification modules is being advanced by the Information Society Agency, while the role of schools will be more active to ensure that the tools go to each student and the supply of textbooks are realised with full transparency. ”
The school textbooks subvention process for students, education connoisseurs, are assessing that it has brought some problems in terms of their distribution.
Xhavit Rexhaj told Kosovo Radio that this process has been conveyed with some problems, but that it also has its own priorities.
A process of some advantages, but also its weaknesses, which have emerged in the two years of implementation so far. It's just the commitment of the parents that I consider to be a weakness, because I think it was the addition of the library link and an extra link that parents have to go to the library to get the textbooks, not as the textbooks used to be. However, this has the positive aspects that now educators really choose texts that are more appropriate for them, not as early as the ministry did, and that approach of alternatives, of electing teachers, and others was not allowed. The new approach has also contributed to delays in the supply of books”.
Meanwhile, the National Auditor Office for 2017 has published several irregularities that have been found in the separation of subsidies for students from 1-9th grade. According to the ZKA, 154 beneficiaries in many of the 14,000 and 150 euros were abroad, but the same received state subsidies for book purchase.
