A public civil officer has been arrested for taking bribes.
As announced by police, the Regional Unit for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption in Pristina during investigative actions has provided relevant evidence leading to suspicion that the same has demanded and accepted money in exchange for an official service.
The “Police have intervened at the moment of accepting the alleged amount as a bribe and arresting the person in the flagage”, the report said.
It becomes known that relevant material evidence has been found in the suspect.
The same was interviewed in the presence of the defence attorney, and at the order of the State Attorney has been detained for 48 hours. The case has been named as “The bribe taking”. Investigations into this case are ongoing. /Periscope/
