Leonard Ademiy, brother of the late Liridona Ademij, has spoken about the latest developments in the judicial process against Naim Mursel, the chief suspect in organising his sister's murder.
He commented on the report by the Institute of Forenzic Psychiatry, which has confirmed that Naim Mursel has no mental flaw. According to Leonard, trying to present him as irresponsible was a strategy to drag into trial and avoid justice.
His reputation was the last card he could drag through the judicial process. I'm believing the prosecution and the Court will take this case and continue with the process, no longer allowing it to drag on”, he said on the FIVE show at RTV Dukagujini .
Leonard reiterated the position that Naim Mursel is the organiser of Liridona's murder, along with the Cocall Concert, while the execution is Granit Plava. He stressed that the family expects from justice the maximum sentence for all three involved, as a message to society that criminal acts will not be tolerated.
For us, it is clear that Liridona is no return, even if the sentence is maximum. But what we want is for these to be punished and given a lesson for all those who can try something like that”, he added.
He also made it known that the next trial hearing in the case will be held next Monday, demanding that justice no longer allow delay in this politically and emotionally sensitive process for family and opinion.
