Prosecutor's File on Popovic: With his speech, he stirred hatred, reluctance between Serbs, Albanians

The “Justice betrothed” has secured the Special Prosecutor's request, through which a request has been demanded that Popovqi be appointed the detention measure, under suspicion of inciting hatred between Albanians and Serbs through his speech in Rahovec.
According to the request, there is suspicion that the defendant, deliberately and knowingly, on July 18, 2025, about 12:00 in Rahovec, had directed an indefinable mass of persons knowing that his speech is conveyed by the media, with his speech has promoted and publicly spread hatred and incompatibility between Serbs and Albanians with the content of dealt with the public order.
The file quotes words allegedly quoted Popovovic as saying during his speech in Rahovec:
“...Serbs have suffered here in the region of Rahovec, Metohija, Kosovo and Metohija because they're local and they have their roots here and they don't let anyone declare them occupier, future and get them out of here...”
“... Few are due to the serious crimes that have occurred throughout Metohija, the most serious of which was killing children in Gorazdec and that those displaced in any way are denied a return...”
“.... We are left to be proud of the bravery of the victims and the brothers left here and to learn that the Great Hocha and Rahoveci remain Serb, that Serb homes and Serbian schools be built here, that Serb children be born, that Serb institutions exist, and that is the duty of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, and for Serbia's Government”, required.
Therefore, according to the prosecution, Popovic allegedly promoted publicly hatred and spread distrust and intolerance in the diversity of national groups living in Kosovo and violated the coexistence of Serbs and Albanians living in Kosovo.
With these actions, Popovic allegedly committed criminal work “The inflammation of division and the failure to be patient” Article 141, paragraph 1 of the Republic of Kosovo's Penal Code.
According to the PSRK, detention should be determined after the conditions for the appointment of this move have been met and that the defendants have begun investigations, he has no residence or location in Kosovo, and that he is a citizen of Serbia, which the circumstance poses a real danger to his departure, therefore to put the criminal procedure ahead.
Otherwise, police had reported that Popovovic has been selected for two more phones during the ban.
Acting Minister of Internal Affairs Jedal Svecla had stated that “security institutions will not tolerate the insults and distortions of Kosovo's history”, adding that to Popovic it will be carried out in line with laws in force. /Periscope/
