These inspections were made after repeated requests from our organisation, evidence that without real monitoring, this abuse would remain hidden. And let's not forget: the municipality has repeatedly ignored our requests to participate in monitoring visits. Now we understand why.
Promising Gashi and Florentina Bajrami, who were supposed to keep these dogs in safe and human conditions that meet all their needs, were paid 50 euros per dog per month. But reality was quite different”, the announcement says.

Horrible Hygiene - foul spaces, without proper division of animals.
No clean water, no basic care.
A dog left in hot heat, exposed and suffering.
A dead dog was found during inspections.
Less dogs than officially reported, which tells of false figures and possible fraud.
Heavy winds of dead dogs, according to workers nearby, showing that many dogs have died and never reported.
A lack of veterinarian documentation
This is a clear abuse of public funds and a total neglect to the well-being of animals by people who are constantly claiming that “the well-being of animals is a priority”, which made sure we don't see the truth, blocking our participation in monitoring visits”, says the post.
