President Osmani's office captures the smell of sewers

The Kosovo presidency has reacted after reporting about building a new presidential object, stressing that President Vjosa Osmani has never asked for any luxury residence, yard or private rooms for himself, but only an official object that meets the state's institutional needs. According to the response, Kosovo is among the only countries [...]
According to the response, Kosovo is among the only countries in Europe and perhaps in the world that do not have a building dedicated to the head of state.
In addition, foreign leaders during visits are said to face channeling in the President's office, writes Periscope.
“Exactly, expectations are held in the halls of the Parliament, while leaders of friendly states are forced to face the smell of sewers due to inappropriate conditions on the floor where the current office is located. There is neither room for organising state receptions (they are held in hotels), nor room for accessing high guests, nor room for dinner or high-level formal lunches, which Kosovo organises in private restaurants a completely unusual practice for any serious state“.
The presidency stresses that any claim that any personal residence for President Osmani is being built is groundless and absurd, as building such an object will last at least 550 years long to rule out any possibility she can use during her current mandate.
In this direction, the president has demanded that the idea plan presented is urgently reviewed in order to comply with the real requirements of the presidency institution and the dignified functioning of the state of Kosovo.
Also, it has called for the inclusion of a reception suite for international leaders and counterparts, as a standard common in any presidency of democratic countries.
The presidency says building such an object is not a luxury, but a state necessity to guarantee working conditions, security and representation worthy of the highest state institution.
“In the end, the president has urgently sought to find legal opportunities to change current specifications, which in no way present its idea of an official presidential facility (ever a private residence). Building such an object for the Presidency (not for President Osmani) is not a luxury, but a state necessity, to ensure dignified working conditions, security and worthy representation of the state of Kosovo”, it is said in response.
