As long as the CEC's electronic platform https://qv.kqz-x.orgThe voter will mark his personal number and date of his birth, and immediately the data for the polling centre will appear.
If a voter wants to change the polling centre within the municipality where it is registered, he will be able to do so, clicking below the button: Requesting a change in the Voting Centre.
August 29th is the deadline for all citizens to make these changes.
CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi has explained to the newspaper Express that changing the polling Centre is in the will of voters, in cases where they see it as reasonable, to assign it as close as their home residence, broadcasts Periscope.
“In accordance with the Law on General Elections, the CEC offers service to voters to change their polling centre and set it as close as possible to their settlement. Voters can access the CEC's electronic platform (https://qv.kqz-x.org) and see where the polling centre will vote on October 12th 2025, and if they fail, they can submit the request to change it”, Elesi said.
According to the CEC, the voting centre's application could be presented online through the same electronic platform, or physically applying to the Municipal Election Commission in the municipality where voters are registered.
Elez has also clarified that the change of the polling Centre from one municipality to another is not directly possible by the CEC, but this is related to the official declaration of residence by citizens/voters.
“Across the CEC, voters can change the polling centre only within the municipality. But to move from a municipality polling centre to the polling centre in another municipality, the voter must change his address to the Civil Status Office or to the E-Kosovo platform. After confirming the change in address from Civil Status Service, the new address is reflected in the Central Civil Register. Any change of residence address until 29 August 2025 will be reflected on the CEC platform and subsequently on the Vote List”, Elesi clarified.
So far, about 1,000 voters of various municipalities have changed the polling centre through the CEC platform.
