Police report the case of Agon Zamenu: There was aggressive behavior and active resistance at the scene, and the narcotics was found.

Kosovo police through a communique addressed to the media have provided a new version of the death of Agon Zejnullah in Lipjan. According to the PK, police officials in self-defence have been forced to use police spray because, as it says, The PK, the victim was already uncooperative trying to escape. By the date 07.07.2025, about 00:12, Kosovo Police have accepted the information through six phone calls from citizens that a person with aggressive behavior, through his actions, was presenting the total danger of passersby attacking them but himself, following vehicles and trying to enter them.
The event is reportedly taking place on the “Haradin Bajrami” road in Lipjan. Police units after receiving information have reacted immediately to prevent the attacks and risking of citizens and preventing further escalation of the situation.
The same behaviors according to the citizens' reporting have also emerged in the presence of police officials who, in order to put the situation under control and its association at the police station, because of uncontrolled and dangerous behaviors, active resistance and assaulting police officials, police officials in self-defense have been forced to use police spray.
Before the person's arrest, police officials have communicated and negotiated with the same for 5-6 minutes, with the aim of convincing him of association at the police station. Also during this time, the change overseer has called medical assistance quickly, since he has been observing his health and psychological condition all along. In this course, the same one has been uncooperative and has tried to escape, but police officials have managed to arrest him.
The ambulance with the emergency medical team has arrived at the scene within a very fast time (3 minutes), to give the first aid to the person in question, where the emergency unit has subsequently ascertained his death.
At the scene the person was found in personal possession and suspected narcotic dust substance, which was sent for examination.
According to the preliminary legal procedures, relevant investigative units, Kosovo Police Inspectorate have emerged at the scene.
Kosovo police, in co-operation and co-ordination with competent institutions, have undertaken all investigative actions for lighting the case, including providing material evidence and interviewing witnesses. All the evidence provided, including camera footage that helps whitewash the case, are shared with relevant institutions, respectively, with the Police Inspectorate and Prosecutor.
The State Prosecutor's decision has initiated criminal investigation into the case, while the lifeless body has been sent to the Law Medicine Institute for Obligation.
At IPK's recommendation, four police officials and a sergeant have been suspended, who after interviewing with the prosecutor's decision, and resumption of the work, have been sent to maintenance.
