Today around 1500, the police station in Shtime has accepted information about the possession of a firearm from a resident in the village of Recak Shtime.
According to accepted information, the suspect appeared in a photograph holding a firearm, police reports.
Once the information is received, police units have taken the necessary operational actions, and a search has been conducted at the order of the state prosecutor at the suspect's house.
During the search, no firearms have been found, but two military uniforms have been seized, three (3) tactical vests and some other” equipment, the report says.
“The suspect was escorted to the police station in Shtime, where he was interviewed by investigative police officers and, under the prosecutor's decision, sent to the detention for 48 hours.
The case is being handled by the investigation sector”, the announcement concludes.
