period continues for verification, changing polling centre

The Central Election Commission has announced that periods for verification and changing the polling Centre within the municipality for Local Elections for Municipal Speakers and Municipal Framework are continuing.

This period, which began on June 28th, will end on August 29th 2025.

During this period, citizens will rightly be able to verify / learn their voting center and if they want to change it, by setting it as close as possible in their municipality:

1. through the CEC's electronic platform: https://qv.kqz-x.org or

2. submitting application to the Municipal Election Commission in the municipality where the voter is registered.

Meanwhile, changing the polling centre from one municipality to another is not directly enabled by the CEC, but this is related to the official declaration of residence by citizens/voters.

“To switch from a municipality vote centre to the polling centre in another municipality, the voter must change his address to the Civil Status Office or to the E-Kosovo platform. After confirming the change in address from Civil Status Service, the new address is reflected in the Central Civil Register. Any change of residence address until 29 August 2025 will be reflected on the CEC platform https://qv.kqz-x.org and therefore on the Vote List”, the CEC said./Periscopi/
