This request, submitted on behalf of the PDK Parliamentary Group, disputes:
- Requesting secret voting commission members' proposals;
- Vote this Commission;
- Commission vote itself;
- The arbitrary suspension of the session after the Commission's disapproval.
All these actions have been taken in open opposition to the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and with the final act of the Constitutional Court, which has created a new judicial situation and clearly defined the constitutional course that must be followed for the constitutional framework of the Assembly”, it is said at the PDK announcement, broadcasts Krankosova.tv.
At the request given, The PDK has demanded from the Constitutional Court that:
- To declare a constitutional decision on the Commission's vote for secret vote;
- I declare an unconstitutional decision to interrupt the constitutional session;
- To order the Parliament to continue its constitutional session until its completion with the election of the Speaker of the Parliament, through open and transparent voting, as the Constitution and parliamentary practices require.
“This step is essential to halt the tendency to overthrow democratic order and ensure that no temporary parliamentary majority places itself above the Constitution. The Democratic Party of Kosovo remains committed to the protection of legitimacy, democracy and constitutional order in the Republic of Kosovo”. /Periscope/
