Two thousand patients on the waiting list at Cardiology Clinic

The number of patients still waiting for an important procedure such as choreography at QKUK remains disturbing.

Currently there are about 2 thousand patients on the waiting list, a procedure that serves to diagnose the essence of heart disease.

That is what Cardiology Clinic Director Faik Shatri has made known.

He says the clinic is over 2023, and has begun treating 2024 patients.

 The active list of patients waiting for executive choreography is about 2,000 cases. This represents a significant decline from over 4600 cases we inherited at the beginning of the current mandate. Currently, the clinic has completed all remaining cases in 2023 and is dealing with cases recorded during 2024. The waiting time for cases that are currently relevant is about a year. Patients with urgent indicators are not included in this list and are immediately treated”, Shatri said.

He said emergency cases are addressed immediately, without joining the waiting list, but the reality for other patients remains disturbing.
