Osmani: Every chapter of the Republic of Kosovo carries US seal

Osman welcomed the holiday, calling it a day that does not only honour the United States of America, but also the way this state has contributed to the formation of Kosovo. She stressed that the US has been diligent support for the Kosovo people, especially in the most difficult moments in Kosovo's history.

We know who our friends are, who stood by us when it was most important. The American people have stayed with Kosovo every step. Twenty-six years ago, your leadership helped us gain freedom, a freedom denied for centuries, and each year beyond. Through peace building, institution building and economic development, as well as strategic strengthening of defence and diplomacy. Every chapter of the Republic of Kosovo bears the US seal”, Osmani said.

It also stopped in Kosovo's military co-operation with the United States, praising deepening co-operation and continued support that has helped advance Kosovo's armed forces.

“We have deepened defence co-operation with continuous co-ordination. Our military professionals are educated in the highest U.S. institutions. We have served side by side in international peace missions and remain united in combating threats that reject our principles, deglore violence and undermine peace”, the president added./Periscopi/
