Osman honours 24 police officers on duty: Our police are fortifications

The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has respectfully recalled the 24 police officers who fell in charge, stressing that they are modern state heroes who chose the path of honor and protection of the country. We respectfully bow before the 24 policemen who fell in defense of our country's life, freedom and sovereignty. Africa Bunnjak and Enver Zymer are heroes who showed the world that Kosovo does not bow in front of anyone”, Osmani said.
In her Facebook writing, Osman reminded 22 other members of police who lost their lives during the exercise of office, stressing that their names “would never cover forgetful dust”.
Our “Police are security forts in every inch of Kosovo in the north and south, in peace and tension. Today we honor not only their fall but also the devotion of thousands of women and men who each day take their stand for this country”, the president said.
She thanked the Kosovo Police for their daily homeland protection by closing the message with the call: Glory forever to those who are in charge of duty!
