Today, on the 27th anniversary of the Battle of Loxia, we remember one of the most glorious confrontations of our freedom struggle. Facing a ruthless enemy, KLA fighters testified that the will for freedom is stronger than any war machine.
Loja was more than a battlefield, a symbol of resistance and unity never to return to captivity. From there, the call for freedom spread throughout Kosovo.
Today, as a free and democratic state, we are obligated to preserve the memory of the fallen and protect the values they were sacrificed for. Freedom is their dying wish!
We respectfully obey the martyrs of the Battle of Lodge and all the martyrs of the KLA.
