September is expected to be a hot month for the Albanian opposition. Following the non-recognition of May 11th elections and accusations of manipulation, Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha has warned protests against the government and the electoral process.
During a media conference, Berisha said “Albanians have only one street, have the way of protest and confrontation with the narcostate to regain free vote”, stressing that this is the only possibility to oppose, as he calls it, “a corrupt system that has seized the state”.
Berisha here refers to problems highlighted by the opposition, including the latest one manipulation of the diaspora vote during the May 11th elections. According to him, there is new evidence proving that the ballots were delivered late by the DHL company, thus deprived citizens of the opportunity to vote. The “E has delivered it on May 9th, received it on April 18th... this firm... this is what we'll see if the company has any Chinese employed”, Berisha said during his speech.
According to the chief democrats, allegations of manipulated elections were also supported at the international level, especially by the European Parliament. “The EP sealed it, elections were not fair”, Berisha said.
Berisha is also determined to submit the issue of diaspora vote to international court. “The DP will address the international court for the diaspora vote process and respect the contract by the DHL”, he warned.
A comment was made on the latest action in Theth for illegal construction violations. There is no earth left over, every inch of those peasants is inherited from generation to generation. If those in non-compliance of the law in their land have placed booths, they've committed violations, but not urbanistic laws, because the law of urbanistic construction has no ground to consider construction without permission, but the construction by proclamations, toʹia removes the cabin from its meadow, and its backyard, that's what only a snail does. ”/Periscopi/
