Raka for Kanal10, has said this mission is aimed at strengthening the capacities of the public health system in Ukraine, especially in critical areas such as infection control.
“At the invitation of New York's Columbia University, I am on a short mission to Ukraine, under a project supported by Centers for Disease Control (CDC) of the US. This project aims to strengthen the capacities of the public health system in Ukraine”, Raka has said.
Last week, Prof. Raka attended the annual meeting of Ukrainian public health professionals held in Kiev. He met with directors of Ukrainian national programmes and held professional training for clients, nurses and microbiologists.
