Before Israeli negotiators arrived in Qatar for indirect talks, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Hamas' new demands unacceptable.
He stated that the changes proposed by Hamas are not acceptable to Israel, and only last night have been announced. However, Israel will participate in talks based on Qatar's proposal, which it accepted earlier.
Netanyah said the negotiating team will travel to Qatar on Sunday. Hamas has expressed readiness to negotiate a US-backed ceasefire plan, Qatar and Egypt.
The proposal includes a 60-day ceasefire and the release of hostages in exchange for the release of imprisoned Palestinians. Hamas requires the withdrawal of Israeli troops and guarantees of non-relapsing the conflict. US President Donald Trump expressed optimism that an agreement could be reached next week./Periscopi/
