Acting Minister of Education Arberie Nagavci and incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti have mistaken the Kosovo Agency's name for Accreditation.
In a tape published in her Facebook account, Nagavci of the same agency is referred to as the “Kosovo Accreditation Agency”. Such an agency, with the same appointment, does not exist.
While announcing the return of the AKA to the European Book on High Education Security, Nagavci said: “This achievement indicates that Kosovo Accreditation Agency, has met the highest quality standards in higher education”.
Kurti also referred to the same agency with “Kosovo Accreditation Agency”.
“In 2018, under the PAN government, the European Register Committee on High Education Insurance (EQAR) decided to exclude it from membership Kosovo Accreditation Agency. Seven years later, by our rule, this agency returns as a full-fledged member of this European organism. We are committed and fully committed to approaching the highest European standards in education and offering appropriate conditions to our students to succeed in their academic life”, he wrote.
Otherwise, it has become known today that the Kosovo Agency for Accreditation (AKA) has been accepted as a full-fledged member in the European Book of Quality Security at Higher Education (EQAR), following a positive assessment by the independent European Association expert team (ENQA).
ECAR is the highest European institution to register agencies that act in line with European standards for securing quality in higher education (ESG)./Periscopi/
