Official notification for fellow countrymen concerning the trip with expired documents
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore inform all of our countrymen of the conditions related to the trip towards Kosovo with expired documents through road transport.
M E SERVANT: Some countries during transit seek valuable travel documents, without exception. The journey with expired documents is not allowed through the territories of these states, despite the practices of the country where it begins.
Referring to the recent cases presented during transit crossings, especially through Italy's territory, we stress the need for citizens to verify pre-check the requirements for documentation for each country they pass during their trip.
We urge citizens to plan their trips carefully and be informed of the conditions for crossing across each country through which they travel. In cases of uncertainty, we invite you to contact our diplomatic and consular missions for additional instructions.
