The Ministry of Internal Affairs has separated an official communique from the AME, where it has warned of the serious consequences that forest fires, fields and open spaces can cause, which not only cause great material damage and pollute the environment but also endanger the lives and security of citizens.
The X-rays are criminal. The intent or carelessness in triggering the fire is punishable by law and punished according to the legislation in force”, the statement said.
Authorities call for high vigilance and civic co-operation. Any person who causes fire, whether directly or indirectly, will face prosecution in case of damage to public, private property or endangering people's lives and nature.
