The chairman of the Drenas municipality and at the same time leader of the PDK branch in this municipality, Ramiz Ladrovci, has reacted following recent party developments about the mayoral candidate's election for the October 12th local elections.
In a public post, Ladrovci has criticised the manner of organising the process, raising questions about the legitimacy of candidate selection by the 43 PDK leadership members without including the party's local branch.
The response given is: Are they voting for the head of the citizens of Drenas, or for the popular chairman of the Party's Headship?”, he wrote.
Ladrovci has stressed that contesting his candidacy is not random and stems from individuals who, according to him, have damaged the party in the 2021 elections and have already established other political subjects.
I'm ready for the race. I have witnessed success with local governance, with high performance and transparency. The citizens of Drenas will give the best reply”, he added.
Ladrovci has also criticised the influence from outside the branch, calling some figures as 2021 <x0bedels and 2025”, which are trying to detect the choice of candidate for Drenas.
He has also asked the PDK leadership to vote objectively and not become part of it, as he said, “an injustice to the champion candidate of municipal performance”.
In the end, Ladrovci reiterated his commitment to the PDK: “Day, today, tomorrow, PDK. There is no mother son who can take me away from the PDK and vision of our heroes of war and peace! ”

The PDK branch in Drenas, constantly ahead of the mayoral nominations, but also for national elections, has faced suspicion and fraud of various natures, about the presidential candidate, assembly composition, or candidates for MPs.
This time, for the October 12th local elections, the challenge has taken on the extent of a phenomenon that did not happen earlier -- the election of mayoral candidate from PDK members.
The first question being asked, how well do the PDK branch and the work in the Drenas municipality of 43 members of headship know?
What is the criterion for voting, and most importantly, are they voting for the chairman of the citizens of Drenas or for the favourite Chairman of the Party's Headship!
While the PDK branch in Drenas, perhaps the only one, expressed readiness to hold domestic elections after 2021, the leadership decided not to have elections at any branch, not in those with appointed leaderships.
Under these circumstances was contested the legitimacy of the branch chairman, the legitimacy opposed since 2021 by those who left the PDK and established another political subject. It's contest from those who reviled the party and its leaders, they worked against it. The PDK, with over 18 false profiles, was countered by those who caused million impacted damage to negative votes for development projects. This conflict was legitimised by central headquarters.

As founder of The PDK, with a biography starting in the '80s, for some members of the PDK leadership may look like a movie, while for PDK mayors within 7 years of the municipal performance competition, I am unattainable.
My successes are assessed by local and international factors, witnessed by excellent work and performance, in law enforcement and transparency. This success is attributed to municipal officials, the Cabinet, but also to the citizens champions of Drenas.
Of the PDK's leadership members, I expect targets, to say no to the wishes of the perpetrators and the Belgraders of 2021 and 2025 who have already joined against good governance.
I consider that at the PDK leadership meeting, where it is expected to be voted for candidates for several mayors, members should not be present. Thus, they will not become part of the injustice to the champion of performance.
Local governance measures 119 performance indicators, indicators define the champion municipality. The members of Headship leave to be informed by municipalities from the turn why they do not have their own performance champion municipalities and then lets decide for performance champion six times.
Drenas with her citizens will give an answer to the situation, I expect it to be a powerful response not to allow for third power or to rule the Benels.
