Statement for Bones ( mortuary arrest) ) Gjakova, Brecoc
Today, in Brecoc in Gjakova, during excavations conducted by the Government Commission for Missing Persons, in co-operation with the Kosovo Law Medicine Institute (IML) and Police, it has been confirmed that the mortor remains potentially belong to the list of missing persons.
After returning to this location for further and appreciative excavations, our teams have encountered the bones.
After anthropology and identification through DNA, we will inform families and the opinion of identification.
The commission and institutional partners are committed to handling the issue with specific priorities and care, in the service of victims' families and to bringing justice into the country.
