Even sometimes, Trump said it was he who prevented a Serbia attack on Kosovo until the head of the White House warned that very seriously it would return the subject between the two countries.
This, according to former Deputy Foreign Minister Valon Murtezaj, President Trump has put Kosovo in a focus of communication.
“These statements can be read as a political signal that Trump could return to future engagement with the aim of an important agreement between Kosovo and Serbia with the role of the United States”, Murtezaj told Klakosova.tv.
Murtezaj stressed that relations between Kosovo and the United States have traditionally been powerful and the support role of the United States for Kosovo in all ethnicities, from freedom and democracy, to building peace and Kosovo citizenship, has been and remains special and essential.
“Kosovo must consistently be a reliable partner country that possesses a clear and natural strategy to cultivate the report close to the United States”, he stressed.
