Memli Krasniqi invites all citizens to join the protest on August 7th

Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi has reacted to the protest called on August 7th by the KLA's OVL against the Special Court.

He voiced support for the called protest as a democratic expression of civic residence, but also as conviction for the indictees' innocence.

On the other hand, in front of a Facebook post, Krasniqi invited all citizens who trust in the war for freedom to join this protest Thursday, August 7th from 5th to 5th hour in Square “Skenderbeu”

For more than four and a half years, Kosovo Liberation Army leaders are in custody in the Specialised Chambers, still without a final decision. Procrastination of this process and avoiding expected standards of justice, which have occurred by this court, have raised serious concerns, not only about the rights of the accused, but also about citizens' confidence in justice itself. These concerns have further deepened following recent reports that this court is relying on evidence fabricated by Serbia's state structures.
