Kosovo police suggest they have launched a new initiative to bring citizens close to the police institution by building stable bridges of trust and bilateral co-operation.
In addition to maintaining order and public security, Kosovo Police are reportedly committed to strengthening friendly reports with citizens, community, public institutions, media and civil society organisations.
“Synim is increasing transparency, improving communication and promoting active citizens' involvement in issues related to public safety. This is aimed at creating a safe environment, without fear of crime, and of mutual trust between the public and the police.
Within this campaign, for every neighborhood and area we will present the relevant police officer who is in your service, willing to listen, help and directly co-operate with citizens”, the report says.
