Through a Facebook post, police suggest they have engaged a considerable number of police officials with specific duties in the area where the festival will be held, added here other officials engaged in general duties throughout the region of responsibility.

The entire police infrastructure engaged in this direction will carefully monitor the course of this event by being ready to address everything required within police authorization and competence.

Police commitments will extend to several levels, including:

The preparation and undertaking of necessary planning, co-ordination, preventative and police operations on the ground so that the festival can be held in normal order and public calm;

Enhancing preventative and operational police measures for maintaining order and public calm before, during and after the festival;

Security and space management where the festival will take place;

Adjusting and controlling road traffic around the festival area, including temporary stops, roadblocks or road reorients, depending on need;

Monitoring public order to prevent any social, illegal or harmful behavior for collective security;

The identification and enterprise of the legal measures with the State Prosecutor against all persons who conflict with the law;

The increased presence of patrols in surrounding areas, to increase the sense of security for citizens and visitors;

The company of necessary operational and investigative police actions, under the law, and depending on the situation or requirements that could be submitted during the operation;

Co-ordination with organisers and other institutions to ensure rapid and effective response to any unexpected situation.

Due to the large flow of vehicles and persons expected to attend the festival, there will be complete or partial blocks of roads leading to the area where the festival is held, as well as the redirecting of road traffic, so Kosovo police seek consensus from traffic participants.

Because of space restrictions related to security factors and road quality, there will be a halt to all motor vehicles in the near perimeter where the festival will take place. Police vehicles, emergency assistance, firefighters, as well as authorised means/accredited to the service of the festival will be permitted.

Depending on the course of the situation on the ground, circumstances can be presented that require other police actions in the position of new traffic direction or the orientation of participants, but in all cases citizens will be instructed by police at certain points.

The measures taken are in the function of public security and the welfare of citizens. We invite everyone to cooperate with the police and to respect the instructions so that the festival can develop into a quiet and secure atmosphere.
