The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPK) and chief State Prosecutor's Office (ZKPSH) have expressed deep concern over the inadequate working conditions at the Court of Justice, namely, at the hearing and Founding Prosecutor's Office facilities in Pristina, caused by the failure to function of the cooling system and the extreme temperatures that have involved the country [...]
Because of the failure of the cooling system and extremely high temperatures, temperatures within these prosecutors' offices are reaching levels of over 35 °C, making normal work development impossible and seriously endangering workers ' health and well - being.
In this direction, the KKP and KPSH call on the chief prosecutor of the Appeals and Basic Prosecutors in Pristina to take measures, including reducing working hours, to improve conditions.
KKP and Z The KPSH also informs the opinion that repeated requests for intervention and overhauling of the cooling system have not received answers for years, although the object of the Palace of Justice is under the management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which is responsible for the maintenance and functionality of this facility.
The “in the face of this unacceptable situation, the KKP and the KPSH call on the Ministry of Internal Affairs to immediately take concrete and effective measures to improve the basic working conditions at this facility in order to ensure the safety and well-being of prosecutorial system officers”, it is said in response. / Periscope/
