Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj has said that following the failure of political agreements on the Constitutional Constitutional Constitutional Court, which according to him must provide clear guidelines for legal consequences and further steps, the decision is already expected.
We didn't use political agreements. Now we expect the Constitution to make the decision on the legal guidelines and consequences of this process. We contributed to help unlock. This is now a closed issue and we are in a new reality”, Limaj said after the 54th attempt for the institution failed.
He added that he expects the Constitutional Court to take into account public and state interest and to help the soon-to-be constitutionalised Parliament and Government.
“I am convinced that the Constitution will guide the legislature not to repeat this situation and to resolve the constitutional issue for once and for all, Limaj said.
The Constitutional decision is expected until August 8th when the provisional measure that prevents MPs from making decisions expires.
