Legal Medicine Institute: We haven't drafted the 27-year-old autopsy report yet, we're making a maximum effort.

“By order of State Attorney, yesterday at the (IML) Law Medicine Institute, autopsy was conducted for the late Agon Zamenu. The autopsis has been carried out by the team led by legal medical care expert, and with the participation of police officials appointed by Kosovo Police. We've seen today in various portals the news that the preliminary report was released on the case in question. With moral and professional responsibilities, we state that such a report has not been released from the IML, and this news as such is not true. ”

The IML says that they are making maximum efforts to quickly perform the hetopatological and toxicization of tissue samples that were taken during autopsy in order to draft the autopsy report as soon as possible.

“We're in constant contact with the State Prosecutor who has the chance and we're making maximum efforts to get histopatological and toxical analysis of tissue samples that were taken during the autopsy so that the autopsy report can be written as soon as possible. The IML is dedicated to its legal mandate, in order to provide forensic expertise to Kosovo's justice organs and citizens. ”/Periscopi/
