Today, 15 years are made by the International Court of Justice's Statement of Independence's Statement of the Council's Opinion. GjND's advisory thought shed light on the crucial recognition of Kosovo's people's right to statehood, self-determination and freedom. It will remain an act of sealing the legitimacy of Kosovo's independence in international law, testimony to the international legitimacy of the right to self-determination of the people of Kosovo, and a confirmation of Serbia's chauvinist and colonial evidence against the Kosovo Albanian people. The advisory thought is one of the most inspiring moments in international relations because it gives freedom of mind and will to the world that justice to their cause can finally triumph. The legal value of this thought, of course, will serve generations of lawyers as a lesson in principle and ethics in establishing and interpreting universal values. It will remain a lesson for Serbia, which hastily lobbied at the UN General Assembly to ask the Court for the legality of our Republic's independence. Its promotion turned into a major loss of Serbian politics, and symbolicly a memory of the victims of colonization, systematic discrimination of its genocide.
