At today's meeting with President Vjosa Osmani é Sadriou, I reconfirmed the Democratic Party of Kosovo's readiness to contribute to overcoming the blockade for the constitution's constitutional framework already with a clear interpretation of each acts' competencies and institutional responsibilities.
How The PDK, we have presented clear positions and concrete proposals to restore institutional functionality and respect for democratic rule. Co-operation and compromise remain our guiding principles clearly confirmed even in the final act of the Constitutional Court.
We hope that these consultations will bring reflection, overcoming political stubbornness and restoring to regulation, law and Constitution. Kosovo urgently needs functional, powerful and legitimate institutions. We don't have to wait for the 30-day constitutional deadline for the constitutional arrangement of the Parliament we can and should do it tomorrow, in the right way.
Otherwise, the Constitution will again be the address to confirm the institutional kidnapping of the state!
