Full Posting:

Kosovo customs wraps up last week with an increase of 1 billion euros in revenues of 9.7% compared to last year and a significant increase in the annual plan.
Pristina, July 21st 2025 Kosovo Customs has managed to collect over 1 billion euros in revenues by the third week of July 2025, marking an increase of 9.7% compared to the same period last year, when 912m euros were collected. This result is not only above last year's achievements, but also significantly exceeds the official projection for customs revenues for this period.
After the pandemic, Kosovo Customs has managed to increase in the collection of revenues to exceed the pace of economic growth above twice the value despite the fact that fiscal policies have effectively decreased in tax rates. It proves powerful interference in the informal economy. This success is essential to our economy, as it enables the most efficient distribution of the state budget in the function of public needs, as opposed to inequalities in doing business.
Likewise, our achievements in combating informal economy in recent years, especially compared to the pre-indecent period, are significantly higher, testifying to a stable institutional and professional commitment. The contribution to strengthening the rule of law in northern Mitrovica and suspending several alleged activities in the area of derivatives has made a significant contribution.
These results are a product of efficiency in performance, concrete measures for facilitating trade, as well as a continued commitment to modernisation and digitisation of the processes.
We express particular gratitude to the Government of Kosovo and law enforcement institutions for co-operation and inadequate support in implementing our mission. We also thank international partners who support Dogana in operations and capacity building, which constitutes an important pillar of this success.
Our staff remains the main pillar of this success. With their continued devotion, they provide results that directly serve the public. We are especially grateful for each one of them and for their families who support them each day on this important mission for the country.
In view of the current trend and ongoing commitment, we expect this performance rate to continue until the end of the year, guaranteeing the steady collection of revenues and increasingly better services for our citizens and our economy.
