KLA OVL: The State can't be held hostage, even by Prime Minister.

O V L, SHIL and KLA's SHFD have called on all political parties, “with particular emphasis” to the first party to have emerged victorious from the recent parliamentary elections, urgently to find solutions for the institution's constitutionalisation, because, according to them, this situation is unacceptable for us as a war category and all citizens of the country.

The Constitutional Court, like the highest judicial body in the country, has issued a clear decision: The Kosovo Assembly should be held until 26 July 2025. Failure to comply with this decision constitutes direct violations of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo. We are not seeking privileges. We're not asking for political favors. We are seeking only one thing: implementation of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo”.

The KLA's OVL said that “if this country does not function on the basis of the Constitution, then what have we fought for?”.

If institutions do not respect the decisions of the Constitutional Court, then who else should respect them before them? The state cannot be held hostage by any individual, both he and Prime Minister. If by 26 July there is no reflection from political parties to resolve this situation, we as categories emerged from the KLA war will not stand by.
