Full response:
O V L, SHIL and KLA's SHFD express deep disappointment with today's decision by the Appeals Court, which confirmed the sentence against our fellow fighter Peter Shala, lowering him to 13 years in prison.
Although the sentence has been reduced, we have met with full conviction a liberating decision because we believe in the innocence of our fellow fighters and in our righteous struggle for deliverance.
This bias, rather than bringing an end to injustice, only deepens our conviction that this court has political character and does not treat justice on equal and impartial grounds.
The NLA has no need to defend itself against the truth, the historical truth is on our side, and our fellow fighters will not overcome anyone with politically motivated processes.
Freedom is not judged, it is respected!
