KEDS Begins Implementation of ZERE Decision for Business subject to energy market liberalisation
(N. 05L-085) and the Rule for Last Access Supplier (FMF- KEK), the FMF service is limited to a maximum period of 60 days. After the end of this period, in the absence of a regular supply contract, and in accordance with Article 8 of the Furniture Change Rule, continuation of the electricity supply is not legally allowed, and to maintain the integrity of the energy system, it needs to be turned off.
Given these legal obligations mentioned above, KEDS tomorrow, at 31.07.2025, is obliged to shut off from the network all consumers who currently do not have a regular supply agreement with an active supplier.
KEDS recalls that this process is part of reforms for liberalising the energy market and is defined by the regulatory authority. We encourage businesses that have not yet taken this step to contact the suppliers licensed by Z. THREE to fulfill their obligations.
KEDS, like the Transmission System Operator, does not have any supply competencies, but has only the role of distribution of electricity and as a regulated company, it is obliged to implement all ERE decisions.
