The Energy Regulatory Office decision (ZRRE) for liberalisation of the electricity market has been temporarily suspended by the Commercial Court, in a development that has prompted strong reactions from the business community.
Following that decision, the Kosovar Alliance of Business (AKB) has come up with a clear approach, calling for immediate annulment of the ZERE's controversial decision, due to the consequences that, according to them, is causing the private sector.
“RER is required to immediately cancel the controversial decision: Business cannot survive in judicial uncertainty,” It says the UN response.
The Alliance says it welcomes today's court ruling and expresses concern that the process of liberalising the energy market has been accompanied from the start with lack of transparency and serious procedural errors, which, they say, have created legal uncertainty and concrete damage to the private sector.
This process, from the very beginning, has been associated with a lack of transparency and serious procedural errors, producing only legal uncertainty and damage to the private sector. ”- Says their Facebook post. /Periscope/
