Jeff Bezos has broken every record with the purchase of his sail yacht, “Koru”. Jahti, built by the Dutch company Oceanco, is the largest in the world in his category, measuring 127 meters long, three high masts, a pool and an aid yacht with track for helicopters.
Since the start of the trips, the couple have sailed to Mallorca, Ibiza, Portofino, Capri, Cannes, and recently Jahti has been filmed on Albanian shores. Jaht has become a symbol of Bezo's luxurious lifestyle and a new chapter in his personal life.
Bezos and his partner, Lauren Sánchez, were first seen on a yacht in the spring of 2023, while on a trip south of France, the billionaire proposed marriage. The couple were married last month in Venice at a wedding that caused publicity in the world media.
The name “Coru” is derived from the language of M requiter and symbolizes a new beginning, growth and personal change, the value Bezo has described as important. The front of the yacht is a siren sculpture representing the Nordic goddess Freyya, not Sánchez, as originally speculated.
