The United Kingdom will recognise Palestine's citizenship in September, ahead of the UN General Assembly (OKB), Keir Starmer now says before presenting certain conditions for this.
By BBCStarmer said this would happen “except if the Israeli government takes substantial steps to end the tragic situation in Gaza, reaches a ceasefire, makes it clear there will be no annexation on the West Coast and engage in a long-term peace process that will lead to the Two States Resolution. ”
He also reiterated that there is no equality between Israel and Hamas and that the UK's demands for Hamas remain they must release all hostages, sign a ceasefire, admit they will not play a role in the Gaza government and disarm.
