Citing current officials and former American officials familiar with the case, A recent assessment handed over to Donald Trump reveals that American attacks on three major nuclear facilities in Iran eventually destroyed only one of them.
The attacks were carried out on the night of June 21st 2025 and aimed at striking the core of Iran's uranium enrichment programme. These attacks came days after the start of Israeli air strikes in Iran, targeting military and nuclear facilities, as well as senior personnel of the Revolutionary Guard.
The US targeted three main nuclear facilities at Fordow, Nathanz and Isfahan, using B-2 Spirit bombers supported by drone flights to deceive Iranian air defence.

The attacks were carried out by bombs directed by GBU-57 “Massive Ordnance Penettor”, designed to infiltrate high-protected underground objects. However, according to a recent assessment handed down to the White House, only one object was completely destroyed.
According to NBC News, this report prompted Trump to reject a broad military plan that envisioned successive attacks over a several-week period, aimed at completely neutralising Iran's nuclear infrastructure.
This publication comes after claims by Donald Trump, who had claimed that Operation “Midight Hammer” completely destroyed Iranian nuclear facilities, describing as false “” all reports opposing his claims./Periscopi/
