Interior Minister Ervin Hoxha declared that people are the main cause of firing fires.
“120 people have been prosecuted as suspects in the fire. 21 persons have been arrested”, Minister Hoxha said.
The Ministry of Defence, Interior, Agriculture and the National Civil Protection Agency have prepared a plan for increased readiness for August.
Of the fires, the most affected is Vlora's district with 17 thousand and 500 hectares burned, followed by Debra, Tirana and then Berat.
As a result of fires during July, 29 thousand hectares of land have been burned, 12 residences, 3 stages, 1 cult object and 1 substation of energy have been affected. /Euronews. al
