She had stated that only three people have access to the IML area where the samples were taken.
“The pipe holders contained 15 blood tubes, 1 tube urine and 1 stomach tube. Of these, two tubes were handed over to the Swiss institute and to a police for DNA analysis. Currently, according to information, 12 blood tubes are missing, 1 urina tube and 1 stomach tube. Only 3 people have access to the location where the pipes are stored, so only 3 people have keys to the place where samples” are stored, Haxhiu said.
The Institute for Legal Medicine (IML), through a reaction, has indicated that the Toxicology Laboratory in IML is out of place because of the innovation process in all internal areas of the IML facility, including the space of the labs.
As reported in the report, immediately after the completion of this process in September, there will be a service and calibration of laboratory equipment and equipment to ensure that samples are tested according to required standards.
The IML has also explained that given the extremely sensitive nature of equipment, as well as the technical complexity of the gas system used in this laboratory, moving them to another area during this period has been impossible.
